Depths Of Healing from God’s Ocean

When life is full and overwhelming, we may feel like we are drowning in an ocean of chaos as we are tossed about by the waves of difficulty we pass through.

Yet, God says: “Come aside and be with Me.
Find your RESToration and fullness of joy in My Presence. There is healing in My ocean.”

7 Praise the Lord from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all deeps,
8 fire and hail, snow and mist,
           stormy wind fulfilling his word!
                                       ~ Psalm 148:7-8

The ocean is a beautiful covering blanketing our earth designed by our Heavenly Creator, Abba, and designed with multiple purposes. Within its depths and on its shores, there is healing to be found.

Water is a terrifying thing for some of us, something greater than our ability to transverse, so we sit along the sand, not venturing too far in the waves.

For others, the ocean’s roar with its constant breezes is a prospect to master. The J~O~Y of the ebb and flow and rising above the tide or diving beneath the breakers before they break us is a challenge we gladly accept.

Whatever your position or preference, God has provided peace, healing, and genuine rest beyond the ever~flowing body of the salty seas.

The salty air full of ions revitalizes our bodies’ very chemistry.
There is sand with its textures and various measures of moisture along the water’s edge to enjoy and sink into or to build up. The sound of crashing waves and water rushing back away from the shore is a symphony for the ears, eyes, and soul.

And, best of all, there is the reminder of God’s Sovereignty and Forgiveness. His steadfast love and never-ending compassion are evident in the words of the prophet Micah:

18 Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression
for the remnant of his inheritance?
He does not retain his anger forever
because He delights in steadfast love.
     19 He will again have compassion on us;
he will tread our iniquities underfoot.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea.
20 You will show faithfulness to Jacob
        and steadfast love to Abraham,
as you have sworn to our fathers
from the days of old. ~ Micah7:18-20

I hope and pray you get to visit the ocean soon, and when you do, LISTEN to God’s call to your heart as He expresses His loyal love for you and offers forgiveness, healing, and RESToration!

BLESSINGS to you!
