Praise God for creating you, body, mind, and soul.

Psalm 100

Walking With God Involves Our Whole Being.

Body.

Mind.

Soul.

The numerous parts of your design are for a specific purpose: to know and enjoy God forever.

But have you ever considered that God made each part of you?

God handmade you from the smallest of machines (the mitochondria)within a cell to the miles of intestines that wind through your body to the fantastic 7-layer skin, our largest organ, that wraps it all together.

God’s ultimate creativity is evident in the hardware of your soul, the brain; within it, you can communicate, dream dreams, solve puzzles, create joy, and make treasured memories.

You can connect with God through your intellect as you consider who He is and share your heart’s concerns and joys through prayer.

Your soul is the forever part of you; once conceived, it continues without fail continually long after your body decays. You are made in God’s image, reflecting the infinite, Almighty God through your finite being.

Psalm 139 reveals how much God loves us and how precious we are in God’s sight:

13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
    and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
    Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
    as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born.
    Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
    before a single day had passed.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
    They cannot be numbered!
18 I can’t even count them;
    they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
    you are still with me! ~ Psalm 139:13-18
