Jeremiah 9:23-24
23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”

Pondering 🤔 as I meditate on this passage:
•Am I overflowing with storehouses of self,
OR am i rich in relationship with God?
•Am I enjoying the accolades (praises) of men,
OR am i seeking the affirmations of God?
•Am I broadcasting my importance before others
OR am I living rightly, loving diligently with consistent kindness, and walking humbly with my Heavenly Father?
•Am I living flamboyantly with no thought of others,
OR am i denying myself as i serve others with grace and mercy?
•Am I speaking endlessly (”holding onto the ball” in a team conversation)
OR am i disciplining myself to listen with love?
•Am I living with no thought of consequences as if there is no tomorrow,
OR am i walking in careful anticipation of the soon return of Jesus, The Just Judge?
•Am I living as a fool with no consideration of God and His standards,
OR am i walking wisely in such a way to please God in everything?
~~~ Jesus reduce me to LOVE. Remind me You are God, and i am not!

Micah 6:6-8 ~ AMP
“6 With what shall I come before the Lord [to honor Him]
And bow myself before God on high?
Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings,
With yearling calves?
7 Will the Lord be delighted with thousands of rams,
Or with ten thousand rivers of oil?
Shall I present my firstborn for my acts of rebellion,
The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8 He has told you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
Except to be just, and to love [and to practice diligently] kindness (compassion),
And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?

“20 Take good counsel and accept correction— that’s the way to live wisely and well.
21 Humans brainstorm options and plans,
but God’s purpose prevails.”
