Under God’s Wings

Under God’s Wings,
there is comfort and rest
Especially when I am weak and have nothing left.
He bids me come and be at peace; to cast all my cares on Him.
He can handle it all.

Under God’s Watchful Eye, He protects against the fiercest foe.
He can guard and enable me to walk in confidence.
He can see anything that comes against me and is never surprised.
He is the victor over all.

Under God’s Power,
I am sustained and upheld.
When I have nothing left, He says, ‘Trust me to take care of that for you.”
He is faithful and true and can never lie.
He is worthy of all my trust.

Under God’s Direction,
He gives me purpose.
God reminds me of what’s eternally significant and clears out the things of no substance.
He shows me what’s truly important and worth focusing on.
He is the giver of life.

His Comforting Wings, His Watchful Eye, His Almighty Power, and His Purposeful Direction are the attributes of our personal God who loves us beyond what concerns us and draws us into rest.
