There are many things about which we can be fearful,
But I choose to TRUST what God has spoken.
Listed below are ponderings from my meditation on Psalm 119:9-16.

There are many tutorials, trainings, and opinions available in the cyber world,
But I choose to SEEK the Law of God (the Torah תורה )
for God’s instruction.
There are endless accounts of what seems to be accurate,
But I choose to ADHERE to God’s Testimonies ( ‘edot עדויות )
which say what God solemnly testifies to be His Will.
There are many issues about which to be concerned,
But I choose to PERFORM God’s Precepts (piqqudim הכללים )
what God has appointed to be done.
There are many standards expressed in culture,
But I choose to OBEY God’s Statutes (khuqqim; khuqqot חוקים )
what the Divine Lawgiver has laid down.
There are many edicts outlined in the world,
But I choose to LIVE BY God’s Commandments ( mitswot הדיברות )
what God has commanded.
There are many judicial guidelines enacted,
But I choose to SURRENDER TO God’s rules (mishpatim כללים )
what the Divine Judge has ruled to be right.
There are many endless expressions of thoughts,
But I choose to LISTEN to God’s Word (‘imrah; debar דבר אלוהים )
what God has spoken.

“Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.” ~ Psalm 119:11
May I seek, above all, to be a God-pleaser and not a man-pleaser when man’s ways and ideas conflict with God’s truth.
