Imagine God holding your hand. Thank Him for being near!

Twelve verses are found in Psalm 30, a psalm of David, for the dedication of the Temple, which took place after David died. These lines are full of grateful remembrance of what God had done for Israel’s second king, a life themed with personal thanksgiving.
David’s life was not without difficulty; at times, he feared for his own life, yet he consistently cried out to God. He cried out in prayer, in song, in faith, and with great patience, he rose to his anointed position after waiting many years for this royal position to become a reality.
David had kept sheep.
He had fought a lion and bear and killed both.
He fought a giant.
And he fought many years in the wilderness before he became king.
Through all of it, he depended upon God and lived a life in step with Elohim, The LORD God.
Perhaps David imaged God holding him during great trials and during times of triumph.
Imagine God holding your hand.
What would He say to you?
What would you say to Him?
Be assured God is ever near and willing to listen, to help, to love you with everlasting love!
