Taste And See That The Lord Is Good

Look out the window and observe God’s creation.
Celebrate that the heavens declare God’s love!
Psalm 89: 5-7
“5 Let the heavens praise your wonders, Adonai,
your faithfulness in the assembly of the angels.
6 For who in the skies can be compared with Adonai?
Which of these gods can rival Adonai,
7 a God dreaded in the great assembly of the holy ones
and feared by all around him?”
I love the beauty and intricacies of God’s creation.
God’s majesty can be seen within the most miniature flowers to the magnitude of a bright, full moon.
I am amazed at the details of insects, the glory of trees, the silence of the night stars, and yet these all speak of God’s glory, power, righteousness, and more than these, His neverending love.
God alone is awesome!
We can sing of His steadfast love in the morning and His faithfulness at night throughout the ages because He never changes. The expanse of the sky cannot contain the breath of His wide-open arms, which embrace us.
When I have struggled and have sobbed with deep aches of sadness, sometimes I would back into a corner, sit on the floor, and imagine God holding me. Resting in His arms comforted me as I realized God is always near.
Watching.
Listening.
Gently patting my back.
Reminding me I am His and He is mine.
So, yes, I will enjoy the majesty of His creation and remember that one of His most significant works He did was to create me.
