Taste And See That The Lord Is Good

BLESS God for the cup of His salvation (personal deliverance He has freely given you).
Thank Offerings express gratitude for God’s gift of salvation, the gift Jesus gave us when He willingly and blamelessly went to the cross for our sins.
So what is this gift?
It’s deliverance from death and hell, the punishment we rightly deserve.
We have ALL gone astray and are doing our own thing, thinking this is right. Apart from the illumination of truth in the Bible, we choose standards that don’t match God’s righteousness.
So before a holy God, we stand speechless.
Yet when we cross from death to life and admit our need, agreeing we don’t deserve heaven, God’s loving response is, “Forgiven!”
Therefore, our awestruck response is a sacrifice of praise for this costly salvation.
“He who offers a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving honors Me;
And to him who orders his way rightly [who follows the way that I show him], I shall show the salvation of God.” ~ Psalm 50:23
The cup we lift is like those raised up at a feast for a toast, delighting in the occasion of the gathering. I have tasted from this cup of salvation, and my life has never been the same. I have been delivered not just from the fear of death but from spiritual death. I will live in this land of the living with hope, knowing that God, Who is faithful, has promised I will live forever with Him!

***NOTE: This month is my spiritual birthday in Jesus.
I surrendered to the Lord 46 years ago!
Praise God for His Holy Spirit, who has enabled me
to walk consistently with Him ever since!
